Welcoming the Obama's...

I could not start with out mentioning a huge milestone that we past as people... Although I am Canadian (and love being Canadian) I am still proud to see that USA has a African American President. I say proud because I too am black. I am not old enough to have physically/mental experienced slavery but I am well aware of my roots as a black man. To now witness a black president that is intelligent, diligent and an all around stand up dude. What more can we ask for?
A lot of people would argue with the fact that I am referring to him as a black man or an African American. I say this to them; if he was a criminal on the run he would be a 6 ft BLACK male in a hooded sweater... not a bi-racial half black/half white male... think about it...

I am going to end with a powerful line I found:

Rosa sat, so Martin could walk… Martin walked, so Obama could run… Obama is running, so our children can FLY!

A MILLI!!!!!

If you have not yet picked up/downloaded Tha Carter 3, than you aint part of the millions that he sold his first week out. The album in my oppion is greeeaaatttt. Don't get me wrong it ain't no Tha Carter 2, but i enjoy a lot of the tracks on there... For example IMO the best song on the album "A MILLI" That shit will be banging in my car for a minute.... One thing that I always like to do is checking out new talent on YOUTUBE... About a year ago I came across this young lady named PHATFFAT. She has a very pure voice that I liked so I had subscribed to her videos and watched all the videos that she was uploading on a weekly/monthly basis.

Xzibit Loses His Son!!!!

It has been reported that Rapper/Actor Xzibit has lost the life of his new born son (Xavier). The cause is lung complications. Here is what X posted on his myspace:

“I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when I’m having great times, life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids, if you have them. Protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them. Don’t take a second you get to hug them, teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe, but it is NOTHING compared to having your family.”

My condolence goes out to him and his family as they go through a very hard time.
